Doppler is a type of ultrasound used to look at blood flow to check for any blockages or narrowing in the arteries. It is also used to assess for blood clots (DVT) and varicose veins and is often used in obstetric ultrasound to assess different parts of the fetus and umbilical cord.

Fibroscan is a specialised type of ultrasound used to measure the stiffness of the liver. It is non-invasive and used in the early detection and grading of cirrhosis (liver scarring). In-House Radiology are proud to be the first radiology company to introduce this procedure locally to the Macedon Ranges community.
